Snow Pal

This winter has been kind of all over the map.  Freezing cold, snowstorms, rain, spring-like temps.  Rather unpredictable, I say.  One thing that is awesome about snow?  Making snowmen.  So far, this season, I have made a grand total of one.  However, this one was rather glorious and full of...character.

Yes, he looks like a pile of smooshed poo.  I spent FOREVER on him!  The snow was not sticky at all and I resorted to carving him out of a heap of snow.

Almost-4-year-old niece, L., came by.  I proudly showed her my creation.  She asked why he wasn't wearing a hat.  Good point.  That was fixed with a jaunty vintage number.

Yes, my little snow pal was mocked by my family and Mr. Fiancé.  I, however, think he was just grand and really spruced up the yard for the 2 days he lasted.
