| Gorgeous trail minutes away from home |
I have lived in the Greater Saint John Area all my life, and cannot imagine living anywhere else (in fact, I have tried to, but it never worked out). Why do I love it here? Nature is so prevalent--I can walk 4 minutes and be on a lovely trail to jog, walk, or snowshoe or drive to one of the city's great parks. Plus the streets and sidewalks in my community are also very inviting. I live in a river valley and have a gorgeous view of the St. John River. I cannot imagine life where I am more than a few kms from the water.

Aside for the gorgeous environment, the people here are wonderful. Apparently us East Coasters are "nice folk." What I grew up assuming was common courtesy isn't so common in some other places. My friends and family are here, and I have no desire to leave the area.

Also, if you are into history, Saint John is Canada's oldest incorporated city and has lots of historical facts and sites to discover. If you ever get a chance to come to Saint John or New Brunswick, go for it, you will likely fall in love with the place. I worked at the New Brunswick Museum as a researcher for two summers and I could go on about interesting SJ tidbits.
